Many councils require a cost estimate to be completed by a qualified Quantity Surveyor for developments worth over $500,000. We are qualified to complete these estimates and the associated council forms.

Cost Comparison & Tender Analysis

Have you received one or more tenders for a building project? You will no doubt want to know if they are fair and reasonable. As quantity surveyors we can give an accurate estimate of construction costs to compare against tender prices. Furthermore, with sufficient tender information we can analyse the tender to highlight any exclusions from the tender price, thereby allowing tender comparison on a like for like basis and reduce the likelihood of unforeseen events during construction.

Feasibility Studies

Madden & Associates have extensive experience in cost estimating at the preliminary stage of a project to determine feasibility. This includes a full measure of available drawings. Our cost estimates are very detailed and can give a great deal of content even when based on incomplete preliminary drawings. We will always discuss the estimate with you and make recommendations for possible cost savings or other changes to better fit your requirements for the development.
